Plas Dinas is the ideal venue for a small and intimate civil wedding or partnership. Being a Grade II listed building, we do not have a dedicated function room and are unable to cater for larger parties or celebrations.

We can comfortably cater for a maximum of 26 guests (including the happy couple), and offer a more personal, friendly and informal service. This means you celebrate your special day only with your closest family and friends.

A typical running order would be a late morning service in our elegant Drawing Room, followed by a drinks and canapés reception on our Terrace whilst having photographs around our beautiful grounds.  A sumptuous meal will then be served in our dining room, followed by coffee and further drinks back in the Drawing Room.  The hire of the house would end at around 4pm.

Should you wish to take the whole house on an exclusive use basis, this enables you to have a mid to late afternoon service, followed by a leisurely meal and drinks into the evening.  All your guests can stay at the house and enjoy our breakfast the next morning.  Exclusive use gives you the benefits of a wedding service at the time of your choosing, along with much more time to spend with your guests.

We can offer an array of wedding services from our trusted suppliers, including flowers, photography, fireworks etc. and we would be happy to quote for your individual requirements.
